Marble: time as a measure of sustainability

We are wrapping up the Sustainability, for the good of all series – which looks at water-based lacquering, clay and wood to illustrate our approach to sustainability from different points of view – with a video on marble and stone.

The sheets of marble and lava stone we use for our occasional furniture have unique traits: the one-off outcome of natural processes that started centuries ago. This is why time is an inherent quality of these materials, which abound with endless expressive and tactile possibilities for a design meant to last.
