Creative duo Zanellato/Bortotto have designed two new chairs for the living room that are simple in shape yet defined by stylish details. With its soft, pared-back lines, the Rose chair has been skilfully crafted, in large part using old-fashioned workmanship, with each element finished by hand. Haiku is an elegant-looking upholstered armchair that plays with the juxtaposition of different materials and finishes. "For us, colour is a key element of our work - explain the designers - it gives a unique angle on the design of a piece of occasional furniture as well as on that of a space. The application of a certain colour can be a tool used to help make a room more effective, or an important aesthetic detail for bringing out the shapes of an object and giving it unprecedented distinguishing features.
